Steve Lee is the president and chief consultant of ROA Group. Steve's main clients are mobile carriers, device vendors, government agencies and multinational companies. He has touched many strategic issues and projects related to new business build up, benchmarking and corporate strategy for the clients in Asia and Europe.

Prior to founding ROA Group, Inc., Steve worked as a consulting team manager at Zappallas, Inc. and as a senior consultant at MindBranch Asia Pacific. He has also worked at Samsung Electro-Mechanics, where he was in charge of Business Planning and Business Process Innovation. 

Steve Lee is the Module Manager of Asian Market Forecast (AMF), one of ROA Group's advisory services.

Consulting & Experience

David Kim is the managing director of ROA Group Korea, Inc. He covers mobile carriers, device vendors and government agencies. David's regular consulting customers include SKT, KTF, KT, Samsung, LGE and Pantech. He was also selected as a Post-PC expert by MOCIE (Ministry of Commerce, Industry and Energy) in 2003. David has several years of telecommunications experience in corporate strategy and setting up new businesses for mobile carriers and device vendors. He has appeared as an industry expert on many Korean newspapers and has been quoted in such journals as Electronic Times, Digital Times and K-mobile. 

David Kim is the Module Manager of Portable Device Convergence (PDC), one of ROA Group's advisory services.

Education

David has a bachelor’s degree from Korea University (Management Information Systems in Business Administration, journalism as double major), and M.B.A from HSE (Helsinki School of Economics, e-Business).

Consulting & Experience

Dr Andrew Hong is the vice president of ROA Group Korea Inc. He has more than 15 years of experience in device related strategies, marketing and PRM (Product Road Map). Prior to joining ROA Group Korea Inc, he was a senior manager at the president-secretary unit of Pantech & Curitel, the 3rd largest device manufacturer in South Korea. In Pantech & Curitel, he served several years in marketing and management for setting up new business plans and new device launches. He is also experienced in managing an R&D center as a senior manager.

Education

Andrew has a B.E and M.E (Electrical Engineering) from Seogang University and Doctorate Degree (Electronics and Electrical Engineering) from POSTECH in South Korea. 

Consulting & Experience

Kuninori So focuses on Japanese and SE Asian markets, covering regulations, and player dynamics. Kuninori previously joined the team in the Cyber Defense Institutes of ITOCHU Group as a senior security consultant to verify the security issues. Prior to that, he was deeply involved in various research on US IT markets at US Frontline News in New York as an analyst as well as a freelance researcher. He also has an experience working for Advanced Management as a senior analyst to conduct research on a wide range of IT areas such as Japan’s broadband industry or system integration areas.

Consulting & Experience

John Goh is a senior consultant in ROA Korea, specializing in media and content, consumer trends and Korean IT industry. He has experienced in projects related to digital contents, consumer trends and analyzing business models for content providers in Korea. He has also a vast knowledge on global digital content market and has good relationships with Korean government agencies related to digital contents and media. John’s clients include major mobile operators in Korea as well as global mobile operators who are interested in the Korean market.
Prior to joining ROA Korea John has worked as a researcher for Korea Culture and Contents Agency and for Hyundai Investment & Securities in corporation sales department. 

Education

John has a master’s degree from Yonsei University ( Korea ), majoring in Digital Culture Contents.

Consulting & Experience 

Ally Won is a Senior Analyst in ROA Group HQ in Japan. She covers Telecommunications Industry and Convergence Industry in Japan and Korea. Her specialty is convergence service market of telecommunications and broadcasting. She has many experiences of benchmark research and consulting projects on telecommunication services.

Education 

Ally has a master’s degree from Chuo University in Japan, majoring in corporate management. She also has a bachelor’s degree from Ducksung University in Korea, majoring in accounting.

Sonia Woo focuses on fixed/mobile convergence trends, covering technology, carriers and services in the Japanese market. Sonia's main clients are mobile carriers. Sonia has several years of consulting experience and before joining ROA Group Japan, Sonia worked as a senior manager for Samsung Networks and was involved in systematic approaches, such as cost analysis for new services, backbone topology design, operating system planning and implementation.

Sonia Woo is the Module Manager of Service Convergence (SC), one of ROA Group's advisory services.

Education

Sonia has a master’s degree from Korea Advanced Institute of Science & Technology, majoring in queuing system applied to telecommunications.

Consulting & Experience 

Hiroshi Yamamoto is specialized in research on the Chinese and Indian markets, focusing on regulations and player dynamics.  Hiroshi is also able to conduct various research projects covering worldwide telecommunication markets, and he is fluent in Japanese, Chinese and English.

Seong-Ho Kim focuses on the dynamics of demand and supply for microeconomic players, covering various researches and consulting topics with statistical approaches. Prior to joining ROA Group, Seong-Ho has experienced in marketing, and acquired business statistical skills.  He has conducted many research projects related to end-user surveys, strategic marketing, strategic planning and business development for ROA’s clients.
